What does it mean to represent the past and redefine your path?

Represent is a dynamic, multi-layered dance-theater production that explores legacy, identity, self-perception, and the power of breaking free from expectation. Through a fusion of hip-hop, spoken word, theater, and movement, the show follows a group of individuals as they struggle with the weight of tradition, societal pressure, and self-doubt—ultimately finding the courage to redefine their own paths.

The show unfolds across four acts, each delving deeper into the journey of discovering who we are beyond the roles we inherit.

Under the artistic direction of Paula Dewart, created and performed by the Destiny Arts Youth Performance Company, Destiny Junior Company, and The Elders Project, with collaborators BANDALOOP.

Tickets start at $15 for students and young people under 17.
